The goal is:

• Promote the organization of folklore festivals within its scope.
• Support and advise partners on improving the organization of their festivals
• Develop feelings of friendship and understanding, fraternal ties and international cooperation among all participants in festivals and folkloric meetings.
• Help improve exchanges of information on folklore groups.

For all these reasons, it should be noted that our group and its festival joined this association in 2008 as full partners. Soon after, we joined the Board of Directors as members. Since 28 January 2023, we have been Vice-President of the Interpueblos Folklore Festival.

A position shared with colleagues from Extremadura, Galicia, Castilla La Mancha, Murcia, Castilla León and Aragón.

As a result of the resignation of the President, on 27 January 2024 a new extraordinary meeting was held to form the new Board of Directors. At that meeting, we were re-elected Vice-President of the Festifolk International Folklore Festival.
